Kinduct and Sportradar partner to power performance data for NBA teams

HALIFAX - July 11, 2017

Two leaders in the sports technology industry – Kinduct and Sportradar – are excited to announce a new data integration for the 2017-2018 NBA season. This partnership will enable improved athlete performance through an enhanced level of NBA data offered to NBA teams on Kinduct’s Athlete Management System. This is an exciting announcement that coincides with the NBA’s Summer League happening in Las Vegas.

The benefit of this partnership will begin with the 2017-18 NBA season. As The Official Provider of Real Time NBA League Statistics, Sportradar will make this data available through direct relationships with NBA teams as part of a multi-year deal with the league.

“As the Official Provider of Real Time NBA League Statistics, Sportradar is thrilled to be working with Kinduct, a leader in athletic monitoring and performance improvement, to serve the market with NBA data.” Says Dr. Laila Mintas, Sportradar US Deputy President. “Sportradar’s game data combined with Kinduct’s Athlete Management System will create a winning advantage for NBA teams.”

Kinduct is the first AMS provider with an integration agreement with Sportradar for this data. The new tracking solution with performance and training insights gives coaches, trainers and sports scientists a powerful suite of tools for athlete and team preparation, injury prevention, and enhanced performance.

“Kinduct is extremely excited about this new partnership.” states Dr. Travis McDonough, Kinduct CEO “Our highly secure, cloud-based Athlete Management System offers NBA teams the ideal tool to ingest this data, analyze it, and develop effective actions based on the results. Our collaboration with Sportradar, a globally trusted leader in the sports data industry, provides teams with the right data and the right tools at the right time.”

The Athlete Management System will be offered to NBA teams and will allow teams to receive data updates that feed into customized reports and individual action plans to ensure enhanced training and better results on-court. By accessing the data through Kinduct’s Athlete Management System, NBA teams will be able to spend less time managing data and more time acting on it. This secure and data rich arrangement will support better decision making, promote constant improvements and drive tangible actions that will help teams better prepare for game day.
